Last night near Manjalpur Crossing in Vadodara, a drug-intoxicated youth drove his car on the wrong side of the road, leading to a collision with several vehicles. The incident drew crowds, and the youth was caught in the act of drug abuse. His clothes were torn, indicating the severity of the event. Makarpura police rushed to the scene upon learning of the incident and apprehended the youth, initiating further legal proceedings.
The entire episode was captured on CCTV, revealing the recklessness of the driver who not only lost control of the steering but also drove onto the divider. Later, the car reversed and rammed into vehicles on the wrong side of the road, causing chaos and panic.

A gathering of people witnessed a tumultuous scene unfold as a young man emerged from the wrong side of the road, spreading fear among drivers and pedestrians alike. Amidst the commotion, the young man collided with several vehicles, resulting in four individuals being injured. The reckless actions of the driver caused a traffic jam, prompting bystanders to unite in protest. Eventually, the crowd forced the young man out of his car and subjected him to physical retribution for his reckless behavior.
Police Intervention: Drunken Driving Incident Near Manjalpur Crossing
At around 9:30 PM, the police received escalated reports near Annapurna Store, close to Manjalpur Crossing, where a youth was caught driving under the influence of alcohol. The locals had already gathered and were agitated, prompting the police to rush to the scene. Upon arrival, they found a black Hyundai Aura car (GJ-06-PM-6851) being recklessly driven by a man named Vaish Mohammad Safik Pathan (age 38), residing in Moin Park, near Manjalpur Crossing, Vadodara.
Pathan appeared intoxicated, exhibiting signs of having consumed alcohol. He was behaving aggressively and seemed inebriated. The police proceeded to interrogate him and verified his identity. The youth was found to be unruly and was creating chaos. He was subsequently taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol, pending further investigation.

A young man reported, “I was standing outside the shop when, suddenly, the driver of Raghubhai’s car collided with another vehicle, followed by crashing into mine.” Clearly, he was in an intoxicated state and was driving recklessly, causing the collision.
Suspect Apprehended: Police Investigation Underway
The Police Inspector, J. N. Parmar, informed that the suspect has been apprehended and the car seized, following the recording of the offense at the Makarpura Police Station. The incident resulted in four individuals getting injured, who are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
