Instagram Influencer ‘Tofani Radha’ Dies by Suicide: Shared a Cryptic Status Before Taking the Extreme Step
Rajkot – Social media influencer Radhika Dhamecha, popularly known as ‘Tofani Radha’ on Instagram, was found dead in her apartment on Raiya Road, Rajkot. The 26-year-old allegedly died by suicide late last night after sharing a cryptic status on her Instagram story.
Final Status: A Cryptic Message
Hours before taking the extreme step, at around 7 PM, Radhika posted an Instagram story that read: “Har ek ki zindagi mein ek waqt aata hai, jab use faisla karna padta hai ki panna palatna hai ya kitaab band karni hai”, which translates to “There comes a time in everyone’s life when they must decide whether to turn the page or close the book.”
A Final Call to Her Father
Before ending her life, Radhika reportedly called her father and said, “I am leaving.” Concerned, he immediately rushed to her residence, only to find her hanging. She was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Investigation Underway
Radhika had been living alone in Rajkot, away from her parents. With over 42,800 followers on Instagram, she was gaining popularity for her content. However, the exact reason behind her drastic decision remains unknown. The University Police have sent her body for post-mortem and are conducting further investigations to determine the cause of her death.
