An injured leopard, which was wounded in an accident two days ago near Nasilpor village on Bardoli Road in Navsari, entered a residential area, causing panic. The forest department team made efforts throughout the night, but they were unsuccessful in rescuing the injured leopard.
The entire incident, which occurred two days ago, was captured on CCTV, and the footage has now surfaced. The video shows the leopard chasing after five to six people like a dog and attempting to attack them near a house. As the CCTV footage of the leopard’s terror went viral, fear has spread among the local residents in the area.
Injured Leopard Becomes Threatening After Accident
Two days ago, during the night on Bardoli Road near Nasilpor village in Navsari, a leopard was injured after colliding with a vehicle while crossing the road. A crowd gathered on the road to see the injured leopard and recorded videos. Meanwhile, the injured leopard became more aggressive and entered the residential area, posing a threat to the locals.
Leopard Attempts to Attack Jinalben
Jinalben Patel, a resident of the village, reported that she was returning home from the hospital when she stopped on the road. She said, “I called for help, but there was no one around the house. When I tried to go home, the leopard suddenly attacked me. Fortunately, nearby residents pulled me into their homes.” During the attack, she fell and fractured her leg.

While the injured leopard was on the road, people nearby gathered to watch. Suddenly, the leopard regained its strength and sprinted after the crowd, forcing people to flee for their lives.
The panic-stricken escape of those trying to evade the leopard was captured on nearby CCTV footage. After attempting to attack at rocket speed, the leopard collided with a moped and fled the scene, fortunately preventing any fatalities.
Forest Department Team Conducts All-Night Rescue Operation, but Leopard Escapes
Upon learning of the leopard attack in the Nasilpor area, the forest department team arrived in the village at night to carry out a rescue operation for the injured leopard. The team was fully equipped, including a tranquilizer gun, to safely capture the leopard. However, despite being injured, the clever leopard eluded capture and managed to escape into a sugarcane field.
