Indians vs Khalistanis Clash Outside London High Commission: Protest Over Tricolor Insult Sparks Heated Exchange on Republic Day
On the occasion of India’s 76th Republic Day, a tense atmosphere was witnessed outside the Indian High Commission in London. Khalistani supporters organized an anti-India protest, which was met with a strong response from the Indian community present there.
When the Khalistani protesters attempted to insult the Indian tricolor, the Indian community countered by chanting slogans like “Gali-Gali Mein Shor Hai, Khalistani Chor Hai” (There’s uproar in every street: Khalistanis are thieves).
Protest Outside Indian High Commission in London
On Republic Day, Khalistani supporters faced opposition from Indian immigrants outside the Indian High Commission in London.
According to news agency ANI, Indian expatriates had gathered outside the High Commission to celebrate Republic Day. During this time, they encountered a group of Khalistani supporters staging a protest against India and its sovereignty.
Khalistani Supporters Disrespecting the Indian Tricolor
A member of the Indian community said, “We had come to the Indian High Commission to hoist the flag on the occasion of India’s 76th Republic Day. During this time, we saw Khalistani supporters standing outside disrespecting the Indian tricolor. I want to tell them that their actions make no difference to us or our nation. Even if our numbers are fewer here, our courage is far greater than theirs.”
Slogans of “Khalistanis Are Thieves” Echoed
Another Indian protester stated, “We will fight till our last breath.” In the video, one group of Khalistani supporters was heard chanting “Gali-Gali Mein Shor Hai,” while the opposing group of Indians countered with slogans of “Khalistanis Are Thieves.”
Protest Against ‘Emergency’
Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs highlighted incidents of vandalism by Khalistani supporters in certain cinemas across the UK during protests against actress Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency.
