Indian Fast Bowler Mukesh Kumar Ties the Knot: Deepak Chahar Makes T20 Series Comeback After a Year, Wedding Break Celebration

Fast Bowler Deepak Chahar Returns to the Indian Team

Fast bowler Deepak Chahar has returned to the Indian team. He has been chosen in place of Mukesk Kumar for the remaining T20 series matches against Australia.

Mukesh Kumar, who is currently married, had requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for a break from the third T20. BCCI confirmed this information on Tuesday.

Mukesh’s wedding ceremony video has also surfaced, showing him dancing to a Bhojpuri song. He will join the team in Raipur before the fourth T20 match.

Mukesh Takes One Wicket in the Series

Mukesh Kumar has taken only one wicket in the two matches he played. However, he showcased an impactful performance with some pinpoint yorkers in the death overs. Mukesh Kumar made his debut for India in all three formats.

Chahar to Remain in T20 Squad Despite Mukesh’s Comeback

Even after Mukesh’s comeback, Chahar will continue to be a part of the Indian team in the T20 format. His latest T20 match for India was played on October 4, 2022, against South Africa in Indore. Chahar has taken 27 wickets in T20 matches.

While Chahar may not have the highest speed in bowling, his ability to swing the ball in both directions makes him an excellent asset. Besides his bowling skills, Chahar also contributes with the bat in the lower order. In domestic T20 matches, he has proven himself as a reliable all-rounder.
