India Strongly Condemns Pakistan’s Claims on Kashmir at UN, Demands Immediate Withdrawal from PoK
United Nations: India has once again asserted at the international stage that Pakistan must vacate illegally occupied territories in Jammu and Kashmir. During a discussion on peacekeeping reforms at the United Nations on Tuesday, India criticized Pakistan for repeatedly raising the Kashmir issue.
India’s envoy, Harish, strongly rebuked Pakistan’s claims, stating that making false assertions repeatedly will not make them true. He further condemned Pakistan’s state-sponsored cross-border terrorism, emphasizing that it cannot be justified under any circumstances. He advised Pakistan to refrain from using global platforms like the UN to push its agenda.

‘Jammu & Kashmir is an Integral Part of India’
Harish reaffirmed that Jammu and Kashmir was, is, and will always remain an integral part of India. He stated that Pakistan has illegally occupied parts of Jammu and Kashmir and must vacate these territories immediately. He also emphasized that India will not allow its sovereignty to be questioned on global forums.
‘Pakistan Must Vacate Its Illegal Occupation of PoK’
In a sharp response to Pakistan’s comments, India’s ambassador Parvathaneni Harish said, “The Pakistani representative has once again made inappropriate remarks about the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.” He clarified that repeatedly bringing up such issues will not legitimize Pakistan’s illegal claims or justify its state-sponsored cross-border terrorism.
Harish further advised Pakistan to stop diverting global attention with its “narrow and divisive agenda.” He reiterated that Pakistan is illegally occupying parts of Jammu and Kashmir and must vacate them.
India Wants Peace, But Terror-Free Relations
Harish’s response came after Pakistan’s Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Syed Tariq Fatemi, made statements about Jammu and Kashmir during the UN Security Council debate on the future of UN peacekeeping.
India maintained that it desires normal neighborly relations with Pakistan but asserted that the responsibility of creating a terror-free and non-hostile environment lies with Islamabad.
PM Modi’s Rebuke to Pakistan
Recently, in a podcast interview with American podcaster Lex Fridman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also criticized Pakistan, recalling past efforts to establish peace. He mentioned how he had invited former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to his 2014 swearing-in ceremony as a goodwill gesture.
PM Modi remarked, “It was a rare diplomatic initiative never seen in decades,” but lamented that every effort for peace was met with hostility and betrayal from Pakistan. He also stressed that the world no longer has any doubts about the roots of terrorism.
India’s strong stance at the UN reinforces its commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and exposing Pakistan’s continuous attempts to internationalize the Kashmir issue.
