Tragic Hit-and-Run Incidents Claim Lives of Two Elderly Victims in Motera and Aslali

In the last 24 hours, two fatal hit-and-run incidents occurred in the city. In the first incident, a 78-year-old retired army man, residing in Motera, lost his life when an unidentified vehicle hit him while he was walking on Aslali Road. The incident took place around 2 am.

Ranjitsinh Anantramsinh Pal (58), employed in a private security company, became a victim of a hit-and-run on Service Road in Aslali on the night of November 8. He was on his way to work when an unknown vehicle hit him, leading to his untimely death.

Vishnukant Rohatgi (78), retired from the army and living in Motera’s affluent residential area, met with a fatal accident on November 6. He was driving around 5:30 am, heading towards Tapovan Circle and had reached near Visat Khodiyaar when a speeding car, whose driver fled the scene, collided with him. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment but was declared dead by the doctors. The police are actively searching for the drivers involved in both incidents.
