450,000 Government Employees Ready to Increase Tension for Gujarat BJP Government, Plan to be Made Today!

With no resolution in sight for the long-standing issues from fixed salaries to other pressing problems, government employees have now taken a stand against the government. Despite the state government’s efforts to address these issues, employees are now in a fighting mood.

For a long time, there has been no solution to the various issues faced by government employees. Their demands include providing plots at concessional rates in Gandhinagar, allocating Housing Board properties at concessional rates, recognizing employees of Panchayats, Boards, and Municipalities as state government employees, ending the contract-fixed salary practice, and urgently resolving other pending issues.

The Gujarat State Employees Federation has also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister regarding this matter.

Employee Federation Criticizes Government for Broken Promises

The Employee Federation has stated that although the government had previously promised to address the pending issues, those promises have not been kept. On Sunday, the Gujarat State Employees Federation will hold a meeting to devise their protest strategy.

It has been decided that on Monday, employees will stage a protest with slogans at all state government offices, starting from the Secretariat. Subsequently, sit-ins will be organized at the district level.

Employees Plan Rally and Public Meeting if Issues Remain Unresolved

If the government does not resolve the issues despite the sit-ins by employees, a rally and public meeting are also planned. This time, employees have resolved to continue their fight against the government until their issues are addressed.
