Grandmother’s Cruelty: Killed Grandson in Rage After Constant Crying; Villagers Alert Police Leading to Uncovering of the Crime

In a residential house near Rajsthali village in Amreli, a child’s body was found in suspicious conditions. This discovery led to an immediate police investigation. It was revealed during the investigation that the child’s death was caused by his grandmother. The child, who had been crying incessantly and refusing to calm down, provoked the grandmother’s anger. 

In a fit of rage, the grandmother inflicted severe injuries on the child, resulting in his death. Once the incident came to the attention of the villagers, they informed the police. The subsequent investigation led to the uncovering of the murder, and the police have arrested the grandmother.

Child Found Dead in Suspicious Circumstances

In a residential house near Rajsthali village in Amreli taluka, a child’s body was found under suspicious circumstances. The police, recognizing the gravity of the situation, immediately dispatched the child’s body to Bhavnagar for forensic autopsy. 

Initially, the police recorded the death as accidental. However, upon discovering the body of the one-year-old child, Ali Razaq Rafiq Saiyed, with severe injuries, the police launched a thorough investigation.

Forensic Report Reveals Child Was Murdered

The forensic report from Bhavnagar, received late yesterday evening, indicated that the child’s death was due to physical assault. As a result, District Police Chief Himkar Singh issued strict instructions to the local police. 

Under the supervision of DYSP Chirag Desai, the Amreli taluka PSI, acting as the complainant, filed a murder charge against the child’s grandmother, Kulshanben Hussainbhai Saiyed. The police have initiated investigations in various directions.

Grandmother Kills Grandson Over Minor Issue

According to the police complaint, in Rajsthali village, Amreli, grandmother Kulshanben had placed her grandson on a bed in a separate room to rest. Around 4:30 to 5:00 in the evening, the child began crying loudly. 

Despite Kulshanben’s numerous attempts to calm him, the child’s persistent crying enraged her. In a fit of rage, she inflicted severe injuries on her grandson Ali Razaq Rafiq Saiyed, hitting him on the right cheek, above the right eye, on his forehead, and on his hands and legs. Additionally, she severely assaulted him, leading to the child’s death on the spot. The grandmother took her grandson’s life over a trivial issue.

Police Arrest Grandmother in Child’s Murder Case

Amreli DYSP Chirag Desai reported that upon receiving information about the child’s suspicious death in Rajsthali village, the police promptly arrived at the scene. The child’s body showed both minor and severe injuries. Consequently, the body was sent to Bhavnagar for forensic examination. Initially, the case was recorded as an accidental death. 

However, it was later discovered that the child had been playing with his grandmother. During this time, the child cried extensively, and despite the grandmother’s attempts to calm him, her frustration led her to inflict severe injuries on the child. This resulted in the child’s death. The police have since filed a murder charge and arrested the grandmother.
