In a rural expanse of Gir Somnath district, a heinous incident has surfaced involving two young children, aged six and eight, lured by a miscreant with the temptation of chocolate and subsequently subjected to reprehensible acts in a bushy area. Upon receiving the complaint, the police promptly took action, swiftly apprehending the culprit and initiating separate investigations regarding the alleged assault and molestation.
Youth Commits Misdeeds with Innocents in Village Outskirts
According to the received details of the shocking incident, Dinesh Amrutlal Fulbariya (age 33, occupation: laborer), residing in a village in the Gir Somnath district, committed misconduct with two innocent children, aged six and eight, who resided in his own village. On the evening of 9/3/2024, the accused, accompanied by his sister’s daughters and these two young minors, went to a thicket within a 200 to 500-meter radius, lured them with chocolate, and perpetrated acts of misconduct, including stripping them naked and subjecting them to indecent behavior. Subsequently, the accused fled, leaving the children stranded there.
Miscreant Flees after Committing Crime, Leaving Minors Crying
After the incident, the two minors were found crying in distress on the outskirts of the village. Concerned locals became apprehensive upon witnessing their condition and immediately informed their parents. The children were examined, revealing signs of physical abuse. Upon being informed by the parents about the incident, the police promptly initiated an investigation.
Police Swiftly Act Against the Miscreant
Subsequently, both minors were admitted to a government hospital for medical care, where their conditions were reported to be stable. The police also took immediate action following the incident, swiftly apprehending the accused miscreant and charging him under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including sections 376AB, 363, 354, 354A(1), 354B, as well as sections 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 of the POCSO Act, for which he is currently being prosecuted. This incident has sparked outrage across the community, with demands for strict legal action against the perpetrator.
