Firing Outside Salman’s House: Suspects Nabbed in Gujarat, Brought to Mumbai by Crime Branch
Actor Salman Khan’s residence faced gunfire from two alleged attackers. On Monday night, the Mumbai Crime Branch team apprehended both suspects in Bhuj. They have been identified as Vicky Sahab Gupta and Sagar Shreejogendra Pal, both residents of Bihar. They will be brought to Mumbai today.
On April 14th, at around 5 AM, gunfire was reported outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. The incident involved four rounds of firing by assailants arriving on a bike. Salman Khan was inside his house during the shooting. Following the incident, security outside Salman’s residence was beefed up.
CCTV footage reveals that both suspects were wearing sports caps and carrying bags on their shoulders. The footage clearly shows them firing outside Salman Khan’s residence. Khan had received threats from the Lawrence-Goldie Brrar gang to eliminate him.
After the shooting incident, Lawrence’s brother Anmol took responsibility for this event in an online post. He warned Salman in the post, although the police have not confirmed the authenticity of this post. Lawrence is currently in Tihar Jail facing allegations of the murder of several high-profile individuals.
Both the accused used to live in an apartment in Panvel. There are also suspicions that before the attack on Salman’s house, they had also visited the farmhouse of a loanee located a short distance away from Salman’s house. Police had also seized one bike of the accused. This bike was found parked near Mount Mary Church, about a kilometer away from Panvel. It is said to be registered in the name of a person living in Panvel. The Assistant Police Commissioner of Panvel has stated that this person had sold the two-wheeler just a few days ago.
The firing was done with a 7.6 bore gun. According to Mumbai Police sources, the weapon used for firing was a 7.6 bore gun. A live cartridge has been found at the scene by forensic experts. Police also seized one bike belonging to the accused.

In March 2023, Salman Khan received threats from Lawrence. After receiving threats from Lawrence in March 2023, Salman Khan’s security was heightened. He was provided with Y+ category security by the Maharashtra government.
The NIA stated that Khan is on the hit list of 10 people associated with gangs in jail, with Lawrence having threatened him with death. There is anger in the community over the incident of the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, which prompted Lawrence to threaten Salman in a TV interview.
Following the threat, Salman was provided with Y+ security, and he now stays with 11 security personnel at all times. This security detail includes one or two commandos and two PSOs. Two vehicles always accompany Salman’s vehicle, and his car is completely bulletproof.
