Pooja Khedkar, a trainee IAS officer from Pune, Maharashtra, has made headlines due to a case involving her mother. A video is circulating in which her mother, Manorama, is seen threatening farmers with a pistol. This incident took place in Dhadawali village, Mulshi Taluka, Pune, where Pooja’s father, Dilip Khedkar, has purchased land.

Dilip Khedkar is a retired officer from the Maharashtra government. Local residents claimed that the Khedkar family tried to seize neighboring farmers’ lands with the help of bouncers and threatened the farmers. Farmer Kuldeep Pasalkar claimed that Manorama was attempting to forcibly take over their land.

What’s the Issue?

It is said that Dilip Khedkar amassed crores of rupees worth of property during his government service and subsequently purchased land in various locations. The video in question is from that time when, upon facing opposition from the farmers, Manorama Khedkar arrived at the scene with bouncers and threatened the farmers with a gun in her hand.

Legal Violations and Misrepresentation

Additionally, they have stakes in two private companies and an automobile company. Pooja Khedkar herself owns property worth 220 million rupees.
