10th Pass ‘Doctor’ Kills Child with 3 Injections: Fake Practitioner Operating for 10 Years

Fake Doctor Arrested After Child’s Death Due to Improper Treatment

Recently, 16 fake doctors were arrested from Surat, and now another case has emerged involving a fake doctor who has been implicated in the death of a 3-year-old girl. The child, who sustained an injury on her left leg, was given over three injections by the fake doctor and received a stitch. The child cried out in pain during the procedure, and the fake doctor subsequently recommended taking her to another hospital. Unfortunately, before she could receive treatment elsewhere, the child passed away. The postmortem report indicated that her death was caused by the injections, leading to the exposure of the fake doctor.

Details of the Incident

According to the Bhestan police, on February 15, a 3-year-old girl named Fatema, residing in Nargisnagar, injured her left leg while playing. Her guardians took her to Dr. Shamiim Sirajuddin Ansari (originally from Falwathia, Muzaffarpur, Bihar) at Rehana Clinic in the Garib Nawaz Society. Dr. Ansari administered three injections and gave a stitch to the injury. The child cried out in pain during the treatment. Dr. Ansari then recommended transferring her to a different hospital. Fatema was taken to New Civil Hospital, but before she could receive further treatment, she was declared dead. The forensic postmortem report revealed that her death resulted from the injections administered by the fake doctor.

Fake Degree Holder Doctor Shamiim Ansari Held Responsible

A worker’s family from Bhestan had taken their child, who was injured six months ago, to the local Rehana Clinic for treatment. The child tragically passed away shortly after. Dr. Shamiim Ansari, a fake degree holder, was held responsible for the child’s death. Consequently, the Bhestan police have filed a case against Shamiim Ansari from Rehana Clinic and arrested him.

Fake Certification Acquired from Delhi

Shamiim Ansari, who only completed up to the 10th grade, had obtained a certificate from NEHM (Nature Electro-Homoeopathy Medicos of India) in Delhi. Over the past 10 years, he had been operating a clinic under the name Rehana Clinic in Garib Nawaz Society, Bhestan. This fraudulent doctor exploited the health of impoverished laborers in Bhestan and Upleta areas, causing harm and extortion. After the child’s death, the family reported the incident to the police.

16 Fake Doctors Arrested 10-12 Days Ago

It is noteworthy that a few days ago, 16 fake doctors targeting the slum areas of Surat and treating the laborers there were arrested by the Special Operations Group. It seems that there has been a surge of fake doctors in the slum areas. Individuals who once worked as ward boys or administered medicines at doctors’ clinics have now opened their own clinics in these slum areas and are treating people. The most important point is that none of these doctors possess any medical or doctor’s degree. They have only studied up to the 10th or 12th grade.

People Educated up to 10th-12th Grade Were Treating Patients

At that time, based on a tip-off about a fake doctor clinic, the Surat Special Operations Group formed separate teams and raided the Pandesara, Udhna, and Dindoli areas. Even the SOG was shocked. When the SOG team reached each fake doctor’s clinic, they found that people with just a 10th or 12th-grade education were treating patients. There were 4-5 patients in the clinics who were being administered glucose drips.

7 Fake Doctors Found in Dindoli and 9 in Pandesara

The SOG conducted a campaign against fake doctors. As part of this, raids were conducted in various slum areas within the Pandesara and Dindoli regions with the help of a team of doctors from the Surat Municipal Corporation. Seven fake doctors were found in the Dindoli area and nine in the Pandesara area.
