Deadly Prank Turns Fatal: 36-Year-Old Man Accidentally Shoots Himself While Playing with Revolver in Ahmedabad

A young man in Ahmedabad lost his life due to firing while jokingly brandishing a revolver. The incident occurred in the Rupesh Society in the Vejalpur area of Ahmedabad. The young man, identified as Digvijaysinh alias Bholo Rajput, aged 36, fired from his own licensed revolver. Unfortunately, the bullet hit him on the forehead, resulting in his death. The police immediately launched an investigation into the incident and arrived at the Rupesh Park Society to inquire further into the matter.

On the third occasion of pulling the trigger, a bullet was accidentally fired from the revolver. Digvijaysinh, who works as a real estate agent, was seated with his driver Satyadeep Vaidya and a female friend in a newly constructed bungalow in Rupesh Park Society. At that time, while joking around, he placed his revolver on his own forehead. The revolver had three cartridges loaded, and all three chambers were empty. Even though the trigger was pulled twice before, nothing happened, but on the third attempt, the loaded cartridge fired, and Digvijaysinh tragically lost his life at the scene of the incident.

After the incident, both the Vejalpur police and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team reached the scene. The police noted the statement of Digvijaysinh’s driver, mentioning that Digvijaysinh was also known to indulge in alcohol consumption. The police investigation is ongoing, considering the possibility that Digvijaysinh might have been intoxicated at the time of the incident, even though he consumed alcohol last night. The police are examining the possibility in light of the circumstances. Additionally, whether the driver Satyadeep Vaidya and the female friend were involved in the incident or not will also be investigated by the police.
