DCP Yadav Says ‘Rules Apply to All’: BJP Leaders’ Cars Detained

Some BJP leaders and workers publicly violate the law and flaunt their power. However, on Friday evening, Traffic DCP Pooja Yadav detained two cars belonging to BJP leaders at Kisanpara Chowk and reminded them of the law. Later, based on the recommendation of MLA Dr. Shah, PSI Parmar found a solution and allowed the cars to leave. The traffic branch staff, including DCP Pooja Yadav, were checking vehicles at Kisanpara Chowk, where a tribute program for Kargil soldiers organized by BJP Bakshipanch Morcha was taking place. Two separate cars with BJP symbols and the names of officials passed by. When the staff stopped both cars and began taking action, the drivers got out and flaunted their status as BJP leaders. Upon reaching DCP Pooja Yadav, she instructed that the cars be detained. Observing DCP Yadav’s firm stance, the leaders left their cars and reached the event venue, where they met with BJP Bakshipanch Morcha President Lalit Wadoliya, General Secretary Babu Matiya, and others. The BJP leaders asked the DCP to release the cars, but she insisted that the law applies equally to all, stating that the cars would be detained. The cars were then sent to Shitalpark Depot. Later, MLA Dr. Darshita Shah recommended that PSI Parmar allow both cars to leave. The original RC book of the cars was seized from the drivers, and PSI Parmar said the RC book would be returned after presenting the memo from the RTO. One car was driven by Harshvardhan Singh Mamu Kihor, the Youth BJP Vice President of Ward No. 2, and the other by Mahesh Devdan Avadiya, the President of the Bakshipanch Morcha of Ward No. 12. Harshvardhan Singh Mamu Kihor had not signed the memo provided by the police. DCP Pooja Yadav fearlessly carried out her duties, proving that the law is equal for both the public and leaders, although MLA Dr. Shah’s recommendation resulted in a disregard for the regulations.
