The Truth Behind the Arrest of the Individual for Offensive Comment on Martyr’s Wife’s Photo

During the investigation, we found a tweet from a user named Surendra Chaudhary, stating that the person who made an obscene comment about the wife of Martyr Captain Anshuman Singh had been arrested.

However, the reality is different:

• Fact Check: The individual shown in police custody is not the person who made the offensive comment about the martyr’s wife on social media. The person in police custody is Mohammed Kasim, who was arrested by the Delhi Police in a snatching case.
• Official Clarification: This arrest was confirmed in a tweet from the DCP Central Delhi’s X (formerly Twitter) account on July 6, 2024, indicating that Kasim’s arrest was related to a different crime.

Thus, the claim that the person arrested was responsible for the offensive comment on the martyr’s wife is incorrect. The actual individual who made the comment remains separate from this particular arrest.
