This morning (July 30), a gas leakage incident occurred in the Gotri area of Vadodara city when a pipeline burst in a CNG supply vehicle. The resulting gas leak created a state of panic in the surrounding area. Upon being informed of the incident, the Vadivadi Brigade team rushed to the scene, promptly closing the valve to stop the leakage.
However, the gas leakage on the main road of Vadodara city caused anxiety among nearby residents and motorists. Additionally, one side of the road had to be temporarily closed.

This morning at 7:30 AM, a CNG supply vehicle was passing through the Gotri area of Vadodara city when a pipeline burst, causing a gas leakage.
Hearing the loud noise of the gas leakage, the driver immediately stopped the vehicle and began efforts to contain the leak. Due to the gas leakage on the main road, it became necessary to close one side of the road.
Fire Brigade Team Arrives at Gas Leakage Incident in Gotri Area, Vadodara
Meanwhile, the Vadiwadi Fire Brigade was informed about the incident and promptly dispatched a team to the site. After half an hour of effort, they successfully stopped the gas leakage, bringing relief to the nearby residents.
Major Accident Averted in Gotri Area of Vadodara
As CNG gas suddenly began leaking on the main road, motorists were left breathless with anxiety. During this time, a school bus was also passing by, and there was considerable traffic due to people heading to work early in the morning.
Had a major accident occurred, there could have been casualties. Fortunately, a major disaster was averted.
Poor Road Conditions Likely Cause of Gas Leakage Incident
The CNG vehicle was on its way to deliver gas from the Vadodara gas station at Ellora Park to another gas station in the city. However, due to the gas leakage in the Gotri area, the vehicle was sent back to the Vadodara gas station.
According to available information, the pipeline of the CNG vehicle burst, causing the gas leakage. It has emerged that due to heavy rains, large potholes have formed on the roads in Vadodara city, likely contributing to this incident.

Tushar Devre, a fireman from Vadiwadi Fire Station, stated, “We received a call in the morning about a gas leakage in a CNG vehicle. We arrived at the scene and, after considerable effort, managed to control the gas leakage.”
