Bharuch’s Birla Grasim Cellulose Fiber Employee Commits Suicide, Leaves 3 Suicide Notes

An employee working in the Birla Grasim Cellulose Fiber company in the GIDC of Bharuch has stirred up a controversy by taking his own life. In a suicide note found in the possession of the deceased, three pages detail the distress caused by a company official. The police have seized the suicide note for further investigation.

Suicide in Company Room in Bharuch

In the Birla Grasim Cellulose Fiber company located in the GIDC of Bharuch, a youth named Rajesh Gohil worked in the Oxygen Department. Rajesh Gohil had taken his life by consuming poison in a room located behind the canteen at night. Upon learning of the incident, the police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem examination.


Suicide Note Found Among Deceased’s Possessions

Among the possessions of the deceased employee Rajesh Gohil, a suicide note of three pages was found. It mentioned the mental anguish suffered due to harassment by a senior officer named Manjit Sahib. The note also detailed instances of verbal abuse, threats of dismissal, and mental torture faced by the deceased. Despite enduring all forms of torture, the employee felt compelled to end his life. The note urged action against Manjit Sahib to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Police Registers Complaint to Investigate

Regarding this matter, the police have registered a complaint for further investigation. According to Police PSI A.K. Jadeja, a worker in the Grasim company committed suicide. Therefore, a post-mortem examination was conducted on his body to ascertain the cause of death. The PM report revealed that the deceased had indeed committed suicide by hanging. Consequently, the complaint lodged by the deceased’s brother is being further investigated.
