Apple’s Audio Division Gets New Boss: Ruchir Dave from Gujarat Takes the Helm

Ruchir Dave is undergoing a significant transition within Apple’s hardware team. In reality, he is set to assume the position of Vice President of the acoustic division at Apple. He has been working at Apple for approximately 14 years. Ruchir Dave will take over the position previously held by Gary Gibson. Ruchir Dave holds a bachelor’s degree from Gujarat.
Ruchir Dave joined Apple in 2009, where he initially managed the acoustic engineering team. He was promoted to a managerial role in 2012. Subsequently, in 2021, he was appointed to the position of Senior Director.
It is noteworthy that Ruchir Dave studied at Sharda Mandir School in Ahmedabad from 1982 to 1994. He then graduated from Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering in Ahmedabad in 1998. Afterwards, he pursued further studies at Penn State University. According to sources, this information is being kept private for the time being and has not been officially announced by the company. It is worth mentioning that Apple’s hardware team, comprising approximately 300 employees, plays a significant role in the company’s HomePod, AirPods, and speakers business.
