Anadimukta Vishwam Initiates Retreat: 350 Acres in Aravalli to Become State’s Largest Meditation Center; Accommodates Over 50K Practitioners
The state’s largest meditation center, “Anadimukta Vishwam,” is set to be constructed on 350 acres of land on the Modasa-Dhansura highway. After scouting over 250 locations across the state, including mountains, rivers, and lakes, this site was chosen. It will accommodate over 50,000 people meditating simultaneously. The foundation stone laying ceremony for “Anadimukta Vishwam” took place on Monday. The project is expected to be completed by 2026, coinciding with the 92nd birthday celebration of Bapuji. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was present at the event, along with 70,000 Hari devotees who received blessings from saints. Guruvarya Satyasankalpdasji Swami, the President of SMVS organization, announced the establishment of “Anadimukta Vishwam” during the ceremony.
Over 70,000 Hari Devotees Attend Meditation Center Inauguration
Today, the inauguration of the Swaminarayan Meditation Center took place at Modasa-Dhansura highway. Additionally, the celebration of Bapuji’s 92nd birthday was conducted simultaneously. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, along with prominent figures like Shaktisinh Gohil, welcomed over 70,000 Hari devotees from various parts of the world. The event saw a significant presence of devotees from countries such as the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, and the UAE.
Meditation Center Promotes Unity Beyond Caste and Religion
At the “Anadimukta Vishwam” Meditation Center, individuals from all castes, creeds, and religions can meditate without discrimination. The center aims to provide a natural environment conducive to meditation, with extensive tree plantation and landscaping planned. Various facilities including temples, meditation halls, dining areas, meditation courses ranging from 3 to 7 days for children and elders, will be available. The development plan also includes planting trees without uprooting any existing ones. Farmers were consulted before finalizing the location, and after discussions, 350 acres of land were allocated in the first phase, with plans for further expansion to 200 additional acres in subsequent phases.
SMVS: An International Religious and Social Organization
Notably, the Swaminarayan Mandir Vasna Sanstha (SMVS) is an international religious and social organization. It has expanded its presence to over 150 temples and satsang centers in more than 10 countries worldwide. The organization actively engages in spiritual activities along with various social welfare initiatives, including education, moral values, and healthcare. It runs schools, gurukuls, hospitals, and medical centers to promote holistic development and well-being.
