The luxury bus, carrying pilgrims, met with an accident near the Hanuman Temple, located between Ambaji and Danta. The bus crashed into a railing, causing it to break. Preliminary reports suggest that the bus driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident. Emergency services, including the 108 Ambulance and police teams, arrived swiftly at the scene to begin rescue operations. Passengers were safely evacuated from the bus.

Ambulances from Palanpur, Danta, and Ambaji arrived on-site to provide immediate medical assistance. The injured are being treated, and some have been shifted to hospitals in Palanpur. The bus, which was traveling from Ambaji back to Danta, carried devotees from Kheda district’s Kathlal village, who were returning after their darshan. According to passenger accounts, the bus driver was reportedly driving under the influence and recklessly, leading to the tragic accident.

Jitubhai, a passenger from Kathlal village, shared that they were returning from Ambaji in the morning when the accident occurred. The driver was carelessly cutting corners on a curved road, leading to the accident. According to Jitubhai, the driver was solely responsible for the crash. There were around 50 to 52 passengers on board at the time of the incident.
