Airstrike Hits Gaza School During Morning Prayer, 100 Dead; Israel Claims Terrorists Hidden

An attack occurred on a school in the Daraj district of Gaza on Saturday morning, resulting in the deaths of over 100 people. The victims included women, children, and the elderly. Many people had taken refuge in the school.

According to Al Jazeera, the missile attack happened during the morning prayers. Local sources reported that three rockets were fired at the school consecutively. After the attack, a fire broke out in the school, and efforts to extinguish it are ongoing.

The Israeli military claims that the school was being used as an office by Hamas, with many terrorists present there. The military asserted that they did not target civilians.

Hamas Condemns the Attack Hamas spokesperson Mahmoud Bassel told news agency AFP that about 100 people were killed in the attack, and dozens were injured. Palestinians had taken refuge in the school. This is a horrific attack.

Earlier, on Thursday, the Israeli military also attacked two schools in Gaza, killing at least 18 people. Following that, the Israeli military stated that they had targeted a Hamas command center.

Palestinian journalist Hosam Shabate wrote on social media that Palestinians are trapped in a bombed-out school in Gaza city. The Israeli military has also cut off the water supply, making it difficult to extinguish the fire.
