Firing Incident at Ahmedabad Mandli Garba: Clash Between Groups Leads to Event Shutdown by Bouncers Early Morning
There are reports of a firing incident during an early morning Garba event near Ognaj Circle on Ahmedabad’s Sardar Patel Ring Road. At around 6:15 AM, during the ongoing Garba, a clash broke out between two groups for unknown reasons, leading to an unidentified person firing shots into the air.
Police Deny Firing Incident
However, the police have denied any occurrence of firing. They stated that no such incident took place. Police personnel on patrol and those stationed for security were also unaware of any firing incident. Moreover, no such report has been officially filed at the police station.
Bouncers Rush to Garba During Altercation
According to reports, a Mandli Garba event was organized at Ognaj Circle on Sardar Patel Ring Road. While the Garba was in progress early in the morning, a heated argument broke out between two groups.
In response, bouncers present at the event rushed in immediately. The individual who fired shots was reportedly part of a group that the security personnel evacuated from the Garba venue.
Garba Halted Amidst Clash
During the altercation, many people were enjoying the Garba. However, following the incident, the organizers of the Mandli Garba decided to end the event.
