AAP Protests at Kankaria Carnival Over Nirbhaya’s Death in Gujarat, Female Worker Stands in Front of MLA’s Car, Court Rebukes Police

A complaint was filed against seven individuals by the police after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers blocked the Chief Minister’s convoy at the Kankaria Carnival. The police presented the accused in Metro Court seeking remand.

However, the court questioned why bail was not granted despite the offense being bailable. The court has asked the police to explain within five days. If the police fail to do so, action may be taken against them for disregarding the court’s instructions.

Following the court’s decision, the AAP workers were granted bail on a bond of Rs. 15,000. In celebration, the workers wore garlands and raised slogans of ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ in the court premises.
