According to police sources, amidst the festive season preparations in the city, two men stopped an Innova car on the road heading towards Satellite near Karnavati Club, alleging the car had a flat tire. While the contractor got out to check, the suspects took off with a bag containing 40 lakh rupees.
Police Review CCTV Footage from the Incident
Upon receiving the information, local police and senior officers reached the scene and have initiated a thorough investigation. The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Anandnagar Police Station, and Zone-7 DCP is personally overseeing the case. The police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area, suspecting that the vehicle may have been followed from the Angadia firm.

Joint Police Commissioner Niraj Badgujar stated that DCP-level officers are currently investigating the case. The contractor had collected the money from the Angadia firm, and the suspects allegedly used the flat tire ruse to steal the bag. Police suspect that the contractor might have been followed, and they are thoroughly investigating the incident.
