Tata Sons Directors See 16% Salary Hike

The total remuneration for all directors at Tata Sons increased by 16%, reaching ₹200 crore compared to ₹172.5 crore in FY23. Meanwhile, salaries and wages for Tata Sons employees saw a modest rise of 2.5%, bringing the total to ₹441 crore.

Tata Sons CFO Saurabh Agarwal Earns ₹30 Crore

CFO Saurabh Agarwal earned ₹30 crore in FY24, making him the second-highest-paid executive in the Tata Group. Agarwal’s compensation was higher than that of TCS, Tata Steel, and IHCL presidents. His earnings saw an 8% rise compared to FY23.

TCS CEO K Krithivasan, IHCL Chief Puneet Chhatwal, and Tata Steel Chief TV Narendran earned ₹25 crore, ₹19 crore, and ₹17 crore, respectively, in FY24. Krithivasan’s total compensation includes his time as the Global Head of BFSI for TCS until May 31, 2023, and his tenure as CEO starting June 1, 2023. He succeeded Rajesh Gopinathan, who left the company unexpectedly.

Tata Sons Revenue Surges by 25%

In FY24, Tata Sons’ revenue grew by 25%, reaching ₹43,893 crore. A significant portion of the company’s revenue was contributed by TCS. Tata Trusts holds a 66% stake in Tata Sons, while the Mistry family owns 18.4%. The remaining shares are held by other Tata Group companies.

Former Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte Earns ₹167 Crore

Former Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte earned ₹167 crore in FY24. Delaporte, a French national, resigned before completing his five-year tenure with the company. In FY23, Delaporte earned ₹83 crore, while Chandrasekaran’s compensation stood at ₹113 crore.
