DOMS Industries Soars 77% on Listing, Sensex Hits 71,913, Nifty Reaches 21,593 Highs; IT and Banking Stocks Rally
Today in the Stock Market, which is Wednesday (December 20), the stock market has reached new all-time highs. During today’s trading, the Sensex touched the level of 71,913.07, while the Nifty touched the level of 21,593.00. Before this, the Sensex had opened at the level of 71,647, with a gain of 210 points. Nifty also saw an increase of 98 points, opening at 21,543.
Positive Start with Gains in Sensex and Nifty
During the initial trading session, 28 out of 30 stocks in the Sensex showed gains, with only 2 stocks witnessing a decline. The IT and banking sectors are experiencing the highest surge in share prices. The market had set an all-time high yesterday as well.
DOMS Industries Listed at a 77% Premium
Pencil manufacturing company DOMS Industries has been listed at a premium of 77.22% on both NSE and BSE at Rs. 1,400. The issue price for the shares during the IPO was Rs. 790. Additionally, India Shelter Finance’s IPO was also listed today at a premium of around 24%, at Rs. 612 on both exchanges.
IPO of Azad Engineering Limited Opens Today
The IPO of Azad Engineering Limited opens today and retail investors can bid for shares from December 20 to December 22. The company aims to raise Rs. 740 crore through the IPO, issuing 240 crore new shares at Rs. 20 per share. Muthoot Microfin Limited, Motison Jewelers Limited, and Suraj Estate Developers Limited are also open for bidding from today until December 21.
Stock Market Hits Highest Peak Yesterday
Previously, on Tuesday (December 19), the stock market had also reached a new all-time high. During trading, the Sensex touched 71,623.71, and the Nifty touched 21,505.05. Subsequently, the market experienced a slight decline, with Sensex closing at 71,437, a gain of 122 points. Nifty also saw an increase of 27 points, closing at 21,445. Out of Sensex’s 30 stocks, 15 showed gains, while 15 showed declines.
