Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange to Remain Closed on 22 January: Trading Halted on Ramlalla’s Pranpratishtha Day
On the day of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha, trading will remain closed in Stock Market on Monday. The Maharashtra government has declared a holiday in the state on January 22. Consequently, there will be no trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on this day.
Due to the holiday on January 22, the market will remain open throughout the day, unlike the usual Saturday closure. Previously, discussions were underway to open the market for just 2 hours on Saturdays, but a notice on January 20 stated that the market would stay open for trading from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM throughout the day.
