XUV300 Facelift Model: Mahindra Unveils Teaser of XUV 3XO, Launched on April 29

Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to expand its lineup this year. The journey begins on April 29th with the launch of the facelift model of the XUV300. The car has been spotted several times undergoing testing recently. The Mahindra XUV300 facelift is set to be launched on April 29th. 

The company has released an official teaser for the upcoming car. According to the teaser, the Mahindra XUV300 facelift will be launched with a new name. It has been named ‘XUV 3XO’.

The car could start at a price of 9 lakhs rupees (ex-showroom). In its segment, it will compete with the likes of Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Swift, and Toyota Urban Cruiser.

The upcoming iteration of this model will see numerous cosmetic and feature upgrades. The teaser reveals glimpses of the compact SUV’s new connected taillights and bumper. 

Mahindra has made alterations to its tailgate to accommodate the addition of new lighting setups. Beyond the twin-peak logo of Mahindra, it also introduces a new ‘XUV 3XO’ badging.

While the complete interior look of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift has not been unveiled yet, the teaser showcases glimpses of its new seat upholstery and the new touchscreen unit. Similar to the XUV400, the XUV 3XO will feature a 10.25-inch dual digital display (one for instrumentation and the other for infotainment), wireless phone charging, and ventilated front seats.

It is speculated that the company may also introduce segment-first panoramic sunroof feature. For safety, it may offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features including 6 airbags, electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is anticipated to offer four engine options, including both petrol and diesel variants. These may include a 1.5-liter diesel engine, a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with direct injection (TGDI). 

Additionally, there might be the inclusion of a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol TGDI engine in the lineup, which could come paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
