Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024: Embrace the Future, Shift from China to India for Energy and Technology Advancements, Targeting Developed India by 2047
Vibrant Gujarat Summit has completed 20 years, organizing nine summits in the last two decades. The 10th summit, themed “Gate to the Future,” will commence on January 10th at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, marking a vibrant and historic occasion. The summit aims to contribute to the nation’s development, reaching a $5 trillion economy by 2047, with the theme emphasizing being the “Gateway to the Future.” The focus of the upcoming Vibrant Summit in January is to shift the global perspective towards India, urging stakeholders to invest and engage actively.
With the participation of 25 countries and 75,000 delegates, the summit is anticipated to discuss various sectors, including infrastructure, green hydrogen, semiconductor manufacturing, space technology, electric vehicles, and the chemical industry. The vision document to make India a developed nation by 2047 will also be presented. Following Singapore, Gujarat plans to establish a new FinTech world at Gift City, featuring a 900-acre area with a national-international share market and a global finance hub.
Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat, emphasizes the state’s vital role in India’s development, focusing on semiconductor manufacturing, display fabs, green hydrogen, artificial intelligence, 5G, cloud computing, and e-commerce sectors. In the last 20 years, Vibrant Gujarat has witnessed the completion of 68% of its projects. The state has attracted foreign investments, resulting in a substantial contribution to the country’s GDP, making Gujarat a crucial player in India’s economic landscape. The state’s GDP has grown from 1.27 lakh crore in 2003 to over 23 lakh crore in 2023, contributing 8% to the national GDP. The Fortune 500 companies have shown significant growth, and Gujarat has become a trendsetter, influencing progress in North India, progressive Punjab, Advantage Andhra Pradesh in the South, and globally in Bengal.
