Vespa Launches 2025 Model in India Starting at ₹1.32 Lakh with Keyless Ignition & TFT Display

Piaggio Vehicles has introduced an updated lineup of its popular Vespa scooters in India, featuring new designs, performance enhancements, and advanced technology. The Italian auto group’s Indian subsidiary has unveiled the 2025 Vespa models, along with two special editions – Oro and Art.

Design & Features

While the 2025 Vespa models retain their classic design, they now come with cosmetic upgrades and modern features. One of the key highlights is the 5-inch TFT digital display, available in the Tech and S Tech variants. This digital instrument cluster offers Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and a keyless ignition system. Additionally, all models now come with LED lighting.

Engine & Variants

The updated Vespa scooters are available with two engine options – 125cc and 150cc. The 125cc models are offered in four variants, with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹1.32 lakh for the Standard variant, going up to ₹1.96 lakh for the top-end S Tech variant. The pricing for the 150cc models has not yet been announced.

Performance Upgrades

The updated 125cc Vespa is powered by a single-cylinder engine producing 9.38hp at 7,100rpm and 10.1Nm of peak torque at 5,600rpm, paired with a CVT gearbox.

The 150cc variant offers a more powerful 11.4hp at 7,500rpm and 11.66Nm of torque at 6,100rpm, also equipped with a CVT transmission.

Availability

The 2025 Vespa scooters will be available at authorized dealerships starting February 25, 2025.
