While TVS has not disclosed the exact number of scooters impacted by this recall, media reports suggest that approximately 45,000 units could be involved.

Chassis Damage Without Any Accidents Reported in iQube Electric Scooters
Recently, iQube owner Mohit Badaya shared a video on social media asserting that the chassis of his scooter incurred damage without any accidents. Following his revelation, other iQube owners came forward, claiming similar issues with their scooters. Subsequently, TVS disclosed information regarding the recall in regulatory filings.
No Charge for Customers; TVS to Strengthen Chassis Bridge Tube
TVS assures customers that no charges will be incurred for any service related to the recall. The company will contact EV dealership owners directly. TVS plans to conduct tests to strengthen the chassis bridge tube and ensure that even after prolonged usage, riding, and handling remain unaffected.
During the inspection of the e-scooters, if any defects are found, they will be rectified, and faulty parts will be replaced. Customers will be informed about any necessary improvements or part replacements. There will be no fee for customers for the repair or replacement of defective parts.
