Mukesh Ambani, the richest person in the country, is going to start selling insurance soon. At the 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries, he announced that soon his company Jio Financial Services will enter the insurance sector. The company has recently been de-merged with Reliance Industries and listed on the stock market.

Reliance Industries is currently the most valuable company in the country. Its Jio Financial Services has been included among the top-5 financial companies in the country. In such a situation, the company is preparing to compete with the insurance market leader Life Insurance of India (LIC) as well as other companies like HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential etc
Will Develop Concept-based Insurance Products
Considering the future, Mukesh Ambani has talked about making this business digitally advanced. The possibility of partnering with global players to come forward in the market has also been expressed. He said the company will use data analytics to develop concept-based insurance products for customers, tailored to the customer’s benefit.
Jio Airfiber Will Be Launched
Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of Jio AirFiber service at the AGM. He said that Jio AirFiber service will start in the country from September 19 i.e. Ganesh Chaturthi. With its help, people will get the facility of high speed internet everywhere from home to office. This will be a wireless service that will eliminate the hassle of laying cables and lines at home for high-speed Internet.
