New Generation Mini Cooper S Launched at ₹44.90 Lakh; Mini Countryman Electric with 462km Range Also Introduced
On July 24, Mini, a subsidiary of BMW Group, launched the new generation 2024 Mini Cooper S and Mini Countryman Electric in India. The company introduced the Cooper S with a 2-liter turbo-petrol engine and the Countryman in an EV version with a 66.5 kWh battery pack.

The starting price for the Mini Cooper S is set at ₹44.90 lakh, while the Mini Countryman Electric begins at ₹54.90 lakh. Bookings for both cars have commenced in India, and you can reserve your vehicle through Mini’s official website.
The Cooper S is the most expensive premium hatchback in India, with no other car in its price range competing against it. On the other hand, the Mini Countryman Electric will compete with BYD Atto 3, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Volvo XC40 Recharge, and Kia EV6.
