Kawasaki Launches KLX230 Dual-Sport Motorcycle at ₹3.30 Lakh with Switchable ABS, Disc Brakes & Features to Compete with Royal Enfield Himalayan
Kawasaki India, a company known for making two-wheelers, has launched its first road-legal dual-sport motorcycle, the KLX230, in the Indian market. This bike comes equipped with features such as switchable ABS, disc brakes, and an all-LED lighting setup. The motorcycle is available in a single variant and two color options: Lime Green and Battle Grey.
The ex-showroom price of the bike is set at ₹3.3 lakh. Bookings for the bike have already begun, and it is now officially available for sale in India. Deliveries will begin early next year. It will compete against the Hero XPulse 200 4V and the Royal Enfield Himalayan in India.
What’s New in the Kawasaki KLX 230?
The Kawasaki KLX 230 features a powerful yet slim design that recalls the KLX series. It comes with hexagonal headlights, a slim single-piece seat, a beak-like fender, and a 7.6-liter fuel tank. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a monotone LED with Bluetooth connectivity and offers an optional lower seat for added comfort.
Most Powerful Sports Bike in the 400cc Segment
In addition, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R will be launched in 2025. It features a 399cc liquid-cooled, inline-four-cylinder engine that generates 77hp at 14,500rpm and 39Nm of torque at 13,000rpm. The engine is tuned with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. This bike, with its powerful engine, will be the most powerful in the 400cc segment in India.
