Infosys CFO Nilanjan Roy Steps Down; Jayesh Sangharajaka Appointed as New CFO

Infosys, the IT company, has received the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Nilanjan Roy. His exit will be effective from March 31, 2024. Jayesh Sanghrajka has been announced as the new CFO, taking over from April 1, 2024.

Nilanjan Roy served as the CFO of Infosys since 2018. Previously, both the former CFO Ravi Kumar S and Mohit Joshi had resigned from the company. Infosys has witnessed the departure of at least eight senior management executives in the last 12 months, linking with various greenfield companies.

Jayesh Sanghrajka – A Veteran in Infosys for Over 18 Years

Jayesh Sanghrajka has been working with Infosys for over 18 years during his two tenures. He was employed in the company from 2000 to 2007, returning in December 2012 and has been with Infosys ever since.

Jayesh’s Significant Leadership Roles in Infosys

Jayesh Sanghrajka has played significant leadership roles in Infosys. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer (since October), he brings over 25 years of experience and is a Chartered Accountant.

CEO and MD of Infosys Comment on Jayesh’s Appointment

Commenting on Jayesh’s appointment, Infosys CEO and MD Salil Parekh expressed his pleasure, stating, “I am pleased to announce that Jayesh Sanghrajka will take over as the Chief Financial Officer. As Deputy CFO, he has been leading multiple portfolios in the finance function for many years. His experience will help us take our finance function to greater heights.”

Salil Parekh also mentioned, “I thank Nilanjan for his five years of capable leadership at Infosys and wish Jayesh the best for his future efforts.
