Honda Launches Updated OBD2B-Compliant Hornet 2.0 in India
New Delhi, February 20, 2025 – Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the updated 2025 Honda Hornet 2.0, now compliant with the latest OBD2B emission standards. Priced at ₹1,56,953 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Hornet 2.0 is available at HMSI Red Wing and BigWing dealerships across India.

Design & Features
The new Hornet 2.0 sports bold graphics on the body panels, enhancing its aggressive styling. It features a full LED lighting setup, offering improved visibility. The motorcycle is available in four dynamic color options:
- Pearl Igneous Black
- Radiant Red Metallic
- Athletic Blue Metallic
- Matte Axis Grey Metallic
Engine & Performance
Powering the Hornet 2.0 is an OBD2B-compliant 184.40cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that delivers 12.50 kW at 8500 RPM and a peak torque of 15.7 Nm at 6000 RPM. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Additionally, it features an Assist and Slipper Clutch, which ensures smoother gear shifts and prevents rear-wheel lock-up during downshifting.
Advanced Technology & Safety Features
A major highlight of the updated Hornet 2.0 is its 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The display provides:
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Incoming call alerts
- SMS notifications via the Honda RoadSync app
- A USB Type-C charging port for on-the-go charging
For enhanced safety, the Hornet 2.0 comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Dual-Channel ABS, ensuring better stability and braking performance under different riding conditions.
