This upcoming model will be the brand’s first vehicle under its new project ACE (Asian Compact Electric). It is expected to launch by the end of 2025 or early 2026. The Honda Elevate EV (codenamed DG9D) will be manufactured at Honda’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.

Honda plans to make adjustments to its current Elevate platform for its upcoming electric vehicle, allowing the company to reduce production costs.

This approach means Honda won’t need to make additional investments or restructure its existing production lineup to create the new electric SUV. According to reports, Honda India’s exports are projected to double by 2025, with exports accounting for approximately 30-40% of total production.

Honda has not yet released any official images of the upcoming Elevate EV and has not disclosed a specific investment amount. However, the company has confirmed that additional investments have been earmarked for future electric vehicles. Tsuchimura stated, “As we mentioned earlier, we are going to launch BEVs over the next three years, so naturally, this requires some investment.

We are planning to advance our electrification efforts.” Currently, no official photos of the Elevate EV have been released, but it is expected to maintain the full silhouette of the petrol-powered Elevate.
