Updated Harley-Davidson X440 Launched in India: New Colors, 3D Badging, Starting at ₹2.40 Lakh

Harley-Davidson launched the updated ‘Harley-Davidson X440’ in the Indian market on August 21. The company has introduced this bike with 3 new color options, bringing the total to 7 color options available.

Along with the new colors, the American brand has also added a new 3D badge on the fuel tank. This is Harley-Davidson’s first made-in-India bike, which has been developed in partnership with Hero MotoCorp. The bike is sold through Hero’s own dealerships.

New 3D Logo Available in Silver Color

Harley has introduced two new colors for the mid-spec X440 variant – Mustard Yellow and Goldfish. The company has named this variant ‘Vivid’. It features mustard yellow on the front and rear fenders. Additionally, the Harley-Davidson logo in silver is present on the tank along with the mustard yellow color.

The company has introduced the ‘S’ variant of the bike in a new Baja Orange color, but it does not have the new silver badging. No other changes have been made to the bike. The price of the Denim base variant starts at Rs. 2.40 lakh ex-showroom, and the top variant goes up to Rs. 2.80 lakh ex-showroom.

Harley-Davidson X440: Design

The new Harley-Davidson features a ring-like LED projector in the headlight, with “Harley-Davidson” written on it. Additionally, it comes with a circular instrument cluster.

Harley-Davidson X440: Engine

The company has equipped the Harley-Davidson X440 with a 440CC oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is tuned with a 6-speed gearbox. This engine generates 27 hp of power and 38 Nm of peak torque. The engine is designed to run on E20 petrol.

Harley-Davidson X440: Braking and Features

Talking about the features of the Harley-Davidson X440, it comes with a dual-channel ABS (disc brakes on both front and rear) with an anti-lock braking system. It is equipped with preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers.

Additionally, the front wheel is 18 inches and the rear wheel is 17 inches. It features a TFT unit with smartphone connectivity for managing navigation, calls, and messages. A USB charging socket is also provided.
