Bugatti Launches New Hypercar Tourbillon: Achieves 0-100 kmph in 2 Seconds, Priced at ₹38.44 Crore

Bugatti Launches New Hypercar ‘Tourbillon’ in Global Market

French car manufacturer Bugatti has introduced its latest hypercar, the Bugatti Tourbillon, to the global market today (June 21). This launch marks Bugatti’s first new model since 2016. The most notable feature of the car is its powerful engine, which generates as much power as 22 Maruti Suzuki Swifts combined. While a Swift produces 80.46 horsepower, the Bugatti Tourbillon boasts an impressive 1800 horsepower along with a striking design. The company claims that the Tourbillon can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds.

Bugatti Tourbillon: Price and Delivery

The Bugatti Tourbillon is set to replace the Bugatti Chiron, which comes with 1500 horsepower and is priced at $3.3 million (approximately INR 27.57 crore). The starting price for the Bugatti Tourbillon is $4.6 million (approximately INR 38.44 crore). Bugatti will produce and sell only 250 units, with deliveries beginning in early 2026. After separating from the Volkswagen Group, Bugatti has partnered with electric car manufacturer Rimac Nevera, and the company is now named Bugatti Rimac.

Bugatti Tourbillon: Exterior Design

In terms of design, the Bugatti Tourbillon is a completely new model. The hypercar features a large horseshoe-shaped grille at the front and the company’s signature spine running down the center of the car. The sides showcase another signature element, the ‘Bugatti line,’ which has been given a fresh new design.

Bugatti Tourbillon: Interior Design

The Bugatti Tourbillon features an entirely new cabin and dashboard layout. The car’s instrument cluster has been designed with the help of Swiss watchmakers and comprises over 600 parts.

The center console is crafted from polished aluminum and crystal glass. Its interior showcases a retro design, complemented by a digital display that remains concealed within the dashboard until activated by the driver. One of the most striking features of the Tourbillon’s interior is its steering wheel.

Bugatti Tourbillon: Performance

The Bugatti Tourbillon is equipped with an 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 hybrid engine. This internal combustion engine alone produces 1000 hp and 900 Nm of torque. It is paired with three electric motors, bringing the total power output of the hypercar to 1800 hp. This new powertrain is tuned with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Bugatti claims that the Tourbillon can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds and from 0 to 299 km/h in only 10 seconds. The top speed of the Tourbillon is claimed to be 445 km/h.
