BMW India has introduced the M340i xDrive, a sporty sedan priced at ₹74.90 lakh (ex-showroom). With a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.4 seconds, it is now India’s fastest locally produced internal combustion engine (ICE) car.
Performance Features
The BMW M340i comes equipped with a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. It delivers a power output of 374 hp and 500 Nm of peak torque, paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and the xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The sedan also features M Sport suspension, rear M differential, and launch control for an enhanced driving experience.
Exterior and Interior Highlights
The sporty exterior boasts a newly designed kidney grille, LED headlights with blue accents, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the sedan is fitted with premium leather upholstery, a curved display combining a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with BMW’s iDrive 8 operating system.
