As April approaches, bank customers should take note of upcoming holidays. Banks across various states and cities will remain closed for a total of 16 days in April 2025. Apart from the regular four Sundays and two Saturdays, banks will be closed on 10 additional days due to various regional and national holidays.
Key Bank Holidays in April 2025:
- April 14 – Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti
- April 18 – Good Friday

Online Banking Services Will Remain Unaffected
Despite bank closures, customers can continue to use online banking, mobile banking, and ATMs for transactions. These services will not be affected by the bank holidays.
Stock Market to Remain Closed for 11 Days
The stock market will also be closed for 11 days in April. Apart from regular weekend closures on Saturdays and Sundays (8 days), the market will remain shut on:

- April 18 – Good Friday
