Renowned actor Divyenndu Sharma has recently shed light on his absence from the much-anticipated web series ‘Mirzapur 3’. In a recent interview, Sharma revealed that he will not be seen reprising the role of everyone’s favorite character, Munna Bhaiya, in the upcoming third season.

In a recent interview given to the makers of ‘Humans of Bombay’, Divyenndu made it clear, “I announce that I am not a part of ‘Mirzapur Season 3’.” This statement by Divyenndu confirms that the character of Munna Bhaiya indeed met his demise in Season 2.
With this revelation, fans had hoped for a strong comeback in Season 3. However, Divyenndu has put a definitive end to these speculations with his current declaration.
Divyenndu Auditioned for Bablu’s Role Before
Divyenndu revealed that before landing the role of Munna Bhaiya, he had auditioned for Bablu’s character without any hesitation. Speaking about his perspective on portraying Munna Bhaiya, Divyenndu expressed, “Playing Munna’s character was initially intimidating for me because I always knew it was a powerful role.
However, I had auditioned for Bablu’s role first. But after some time, I realized that I am more suitable for Munna’s character.”
“Now I’m Immersed in This Character,” says Divyenndu.
He further elaborated, “When I was in this character, it had a significant impact on my personality. We shouldn’t underestimate any character because it’s not straightforward. Sometimes, getting into this role was truly daunting for me. I felt like I was experiencing darkness. I truly felt immersed in this character.”
Divyenndu mentioned, “When you step out of such a character, you’ll realize the kind of darkness you were in.”
