Bhabhi-2 Sparks Controversy: Businesswomen Blacken Tripti Dimri’s Face for Missing Jaipur Talk Show, Promising Film Boycott
On Tuesday, women from FICCI FLO blackened the poster of Bollywood actress Tripti Dimri with a black marker. Tripti had come to Jaipur to promote her film “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.”
During this time, she was supposed to attend a program organized by the businesswomen’s organization, FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter. All members arrived at the event by 12 PM on Tuesday. They waited for Tripti and her team until 1:30 PM, but she did not show up.
Women Create Uproar at FICCI FLO Event
During the program, women caused a commotion. The organizers accused Tripti’s management team of fleeing with the money. They are now discussing bringing Rajkummar Rao in place of Tripti.
Meanwhile, former chairperson of the FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter, Alka Batra, took to the stage and blackened Tripti’s poster with a marker. Following this, other women suggested boycotting Tripti’s film.
Nationwide Boycott and Legal Action Planned Against Tripti Dimri
FICCI FLO Jaipur’s Chairperson, Raghushree Poddar, stated that Tripti’s team had contacted them for the event. They had also organized a power event considering Navratri and made full payment for it.
However, her team kept them in the dark until the end. When she didn’t show up, they requested to bring Rajkummar Rao instead, which she deemed wrong and a direct insult to women.
Raghushree emphasized their intention to boycott Tripti’s films, starting from Jaipur and extending nationwide. Additionally, they plan to file a case against Tripti and her team.
₹5 Lakh Agreed for Talk Show
Raghushree mentioned that they had a deal with Abhijit Kundu from Wonder Entertainment for ₹5 lakh. This agreement included a one-hour talk show. They had also paid an advance of ₹2 lakh.
However, it was canceled at the last moment. She noted that Tripti had a flight at 2 PM and another event scheduled at 4 PM.
Former Chairperson Alka Batra Calls It an Insult to Women Nationwide
Former chairperson Alka Batra stated, “This is an insult to women across the country. We were contacted for the event, yet she did not show up. Together, we plan to boycott her films.
This is an organization of courageous women, and such an incident has occurred for the first time. It is very disappointing. We also appeal to the film industry to take strict action against those who behave in this manner.”
