He was targeted outside the team hotel in Johannesburg, where his phone and bag, along with other belongings, were forcefully taken by armed assailants.

Officials from Cricket West Indies (CWI) have stated that our head coach Andre Coley, who is based in Jamaica, is in contact with Fabian Allen. We have spoken with him through our head of security Obade McCoy. He is doing okay.

The management of the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots has maintained silence on the matter. The league’s spokesperson advised against discussing the incident with the police. Contact with the player was not possible.
