The active terrorist organization IS Khorasan has threatened terrorist attacks during the T20 World Cup in Pakistan-Afghanistan. Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Keith Rowley stated that the terrorist organization has issued video messages to many countries, including West Indies.

Islamic State-affiliated media has issued threats of violence during various events in many countries. The IS Khorasan branch in Afghanistan-Pakistan has released a video message through the propaganda channel Nasir-e-Pakistan, appealing to supporters to endorse attacks in these countries.

West Indies Cricket CEO, Johnny Grave, stated, “We are working closely with authorities. We are ensuring that host countries and cities are under constant surveillance, and we are prepared to face any possible risks.”

In West Indies, matches will be held in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago. Matches will be held in Florida, New York, and Texas in America.
