Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 to Kick Off on October 18
The 11th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) will begin on October 18, 2024, as announced by the league organizers, Mashal Sports, on Tuesday. The season will be hosted across three cities, with the first leg starting at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on October 18. The second leg will begin at the Noida Indoor Stadium on November 10, followed by the third leg at the Balewadi Badminton Stadium in Pune from December 3.

PKL Commissioner Anupam Goswami’s Statement
PKL Commissioner Anupam Goswami expressed his excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to announce the start date and venues for the 11th season of PKL. Last month’s auction saw a record eight players being bid for over 1 crore INR.”
Patna Pirates: The Most Successful Team
Since the inception of Pro Kabaddi League in July 2014, Patna Pirates have emerged as the most successful team, having won three titles. Jaipur Pink Panthers won the inaugural season under the leadership of Navneet Gautam, while U Mumba, led by Anup Kumar, claimed the title in the second season. Patna Pirates won their first title in the third season and made history by winning three consecutive finals. Other teams like Bengal Warriors, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi, and Puneri Paltan have each won one title, while Jaipur Pink Panthers have won two.
Puneri Paltan: The Defending Champions
Puneri Paltan are the defending champions of the league, having won their first title last season. The team made history by defeating Haryana Steelers in the final with a score of 28-25, in a match held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
