President Murmu displayed skills akin to a professional badminton player. She defeated Saina Nehwal in multiple sets, indicating she has previously played badminton.

Nehwal to Deliver Speech at Rashtrapati Bhavan Today

Today, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee Saina Nehwal will deliver a speech titled “Her Story – My Story” at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where she will interact with attendees.

Durand Cup Trophy Unveiled

Before engaging in badminton, the President also unveiled the Durand Cup football trophy on Wednesday. This tournament marks its 133rd season and kicks off in Kolkata on July 27th.

The Durand Cup is Asia’s oldest football tournament, with its inception dating back to 1888.
