VIDEO: Attack at James Vince’s Home at Midnight, Resulting in Significant Damage to Property Including Vehicles
England’s legendary player James Vince’s home in Southampton was attacked by unknown individuals. Vince has been living in Southampton with his family for the past eight years. For the last four months, Vince’s family has been troubled by this incident.
The situation became so dire that he was forced to leave his hometown of Southampton with his family. James Vince, who has played 13 Tests, 25 ODIs, and 17 T20 Internationals for England, has been facing continuous attacks on his property. The first attack occurred on April 15, 2024, when the alarm suddenly went off at midnight, startling him awake.
Speaking to the media, Vince said that the alarm went off due to sudden vandalism. Panicked by the incident, they ran with the children to keep them safe.
Second Attack in a Week
In the CCTV footage, it is evident that an unknown assailant entered the compound of Vince’s house, targeting vehicles and the house itself. Before the police arrived at the scene, the assailant had already caused significant damage. A neighbor informed the police about seeing a car at a distance from the scene.
Vince had to temporarily leave the house to repair the home and car. Just a week after returning home, on May 1st, a second attack occurred. This time, Vince was awake when the assailants entered the house. However, upon noticing activity inside, the attackers quickly fled the scene. Using bricks, the assailants once again shattered the windows of both the car and the house.
Vince Provides Detailed Information About the Incident
Vince provided detailed information stating that when the attack occurred, England cricket team player Chris Wood was having dinner at his home, remaining indoors till midnight. This incident surprised the police.
Despite extensive investigation by the police, no evidence was found. The attack coincidentally occurred on a day when a domestic match was being played in Hampshire. Despite security measures, the family remains fearful of another attack.
Vince added that we do not want to take the risk of doing all this again. This may not be suitable for my wife and children to have to go through this incident again.
