The 25-year-old Sabalenka is now the fifth female player in the Open Era to win consecutive women’s singles titles at the Australian Open without losing a set in any match. She joins the ranks of Lindsay Davenport (2000), Maria Sharapova (2008), Serena Williams (2017), and Ash Barty (2022) in achieving this remarkable accomplishment.
